Do I need internet access to use Slide Remote?
No! Slide Remote works flawlessly offline on your local Wi-Fi network or directly via Bluetooth. Internet is only required if you want to pair via our secure cloud QR system.
Is the desktop helper app required?
It depends on your device. For iOS users or Wi-Fi connections, the lightweight desktop helper app is needed. For Android users, you can bypass the helper app entirely by using the Direct Bluetooth mode!
Which presentation software is supported?
Slide Remote supports all major presentation tools including Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Apple Keynote, Acrobat Reader, and Canva presentations.
Are my presentations uploaded to the cloud?
Absolutely not. Your presentation files stay securely on your computer. Slide Remote only transmits basic navigation commands (next/previous) and timer data.
